Review of Pacific Rim

I saw this film because I love sci-fi films and also because I saw the trailer and it looked amazing. I am glad I watched it because it was really my kind of film because I love sci-fi and action movies.

This film will be part of a series because they are creating a sequel which is coming out on 23rd March 2018. I have also seen the trailer for the sequel and it looks amazing. I have also seen the trailer for number two and it looks amazing.

The main actors and actresses are Idris Elba (Stacker Pentecost), Charlie Hunnam (Raieigh Becket), Ringo Kikucki (Mako Mori), Charlie Dey (Dr Newton Geiszler) and Burn Gorman (Herman Gottlieb).
The story of the film is that monsters have come from the bottom of the ocean and attacked the earth a number of times. Now the government have assigned Stacked Pentecost to create a robot to destroy the monsters. So Stacker creates a robot called Pacific Rim which needs two pilots and also the robot controls their thoughts. As the film goes along there are a lot of secrets to be revealed.

The two really good things in the film were, number one, the action scenes because they were extremely thrilling and, number two, the plot because it was an extraordinary and thrilling plot.

I don’t think there was anything wrong with the film,

I would recommend this film to children, teenagers, adults, Sci-fi fans and reviewers worldwide.

I give this film 7/10 as there was nothing wrong with the film.

Review of Jack Reacher

I saw this film because I saw the second one and it was amazing, so I wanted to see if the first one was any good.

This film is part of the Jack Reacher series and is also based on one of the twenty Jack Reacher books written by Lee Child. I think after the way they left things, Jack Reacher has got a lot more adventures to come and I also think it wasn’t as much of a success as the second one in my point of view.

The main actors and actresses were Tom Cruise (Reacher), Rosamund Pike (Helen), Richard Jenkins (Rodin) and David Oyelowo (Emerson)

The story of the film is that a man has shot a few people, the man is then arrested and questioned and reveals he wants to see Jack Reacher. When Jack comes to see him the man is in a coma. Then much later on in the film Reacher learns the force has been infiltrated and there is a rogue cop who wants to kill him.

The two really good things in the film were ,number one, the action scenes because they were extremely exciting and thrilling and, number two, the plot because I found the plot extremely unexpected and such a joyride.

The only bad thing in the film was the beginning because I found it extremely dull and boring.

I recommend this film to teenagers, adults, Action film lovers and Jack Reacher lovers. Warning this film has aggressive so not for children under twelve even if you are watching it with your parents.

I give this film a 9/10 because of how bad the beginning of the film was.

Review of Robocop

I saw this film because I loved the trailer and also because I wanted to see what the film was like. It also had very good ratings which I think were wrong because I loved this film.

This film is an individual film which I am extremely pleased about because I think that a prequel or a sequel would be a rubbish film. If you have to be specific this film is a remake of the original Robocop movie that came out in 1987.

The main actors and actresses were Joel Kinnaman (Alex Murphy), Gary Oldman (Doctor Dennett Norton), Michael Keaton (Raymond Sellars) and Abbie Cornish (Clara Murphy).

The story of the film is cop Alex Murphy loses a lot of his body when his car explodes outside his house. Alex is then turned into RoboCop and can not control his emotions so Doctor Norton turns off Alex’s emotions and sets him remote controlled then Alex goes rogue but what will Alex find out about his past and what is Mr Sellars hiding.

The two really good things in the film were number one the action scenes because they were extremely thrilling and exciting, and number two the cast because I think
they were born for there roles in Robocop.

I don’t think there was anything wrong with the film,

I recommend this film to teenagers, adults, Robocop fans and reviewers worldwide. Warning not for children under 12 as it has mild violence.

I give this film a 9.6/10 as there was nothing wrong with the film.

Review of Thor Ragnarok

I decided to watch this film because I loved the trailers, it looked hilariously funny and also it was linked to Avengers: Infinity War which I am extremely excited about as it is coming out on 27th April 2018.

This film is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series and also part of the Thor series. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has now released seventeen movies since the franchise started in 2008.

The main actors and actresses are Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Cate Blanchett (Hela), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner / Hulk), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) and Karl Urban (Skurge).

The story of the film is that Hela the goddess of death, has invaded Asgard after breaking free from Odin’s spell and Thor has been knocked out of the portal to Asgard and landed on a planet where the Grandmaster (creator of the contest of champions) rules and is taken hostage by Valkyrie. Thor then has to battle the Hulk and loses. Later on in the film Thor creates a team called the Revengers to stop Hela and prevent Ragnarok, but where does Thor’s power really come from , what does Ragnarok mean and will Asgard fall?

The two really good things in the film were, number one,  the humour because it was just hilariously funny and my mum and I just couldn’t help laughing and, number two, the action scenes because they were super cool.

This film is the only MCU film I can not fault it was everything that we needed after the first two Thor movies which were not very good.

I recommend this film to children, teenagers, adults, comedy fans, Marvel fans, Guardians of Galaxy fans, Thor fans and reviews world wide.

I give this film a 9.9/10 as this film was the only MCU film I can not fault and also because of how amazing it was as a film.
